We hope you have a spooky (but not scary) evening full of tricks and treats. But of course, no App47 holiday would be complete without a collection of our favorite mobile apps to celebrate the occasion.
If you’re looking for a last-minute way to make your Halloween a little more spooky, do yourself a favor and download one of our favorite Halloween apps from the list below:
- Ghost Lens: If you (or your kids) are a fan of truly scary Halloweens, this app is for you. Ghost Lens lets you take photos of yourself as, well, a ghost, in a variety of settings. A creepy paranormal photo is a great way to get yourself ready for Halloween!
- Halloween Spooky Sound Box: Looking to make your house just a little bit spookier for trick-or-treaters? Grab your smartphone, hook up a bluetooth speaker, and use this app to generate a scary soundtrack for your house. For bonus points, turn out the lights inside your house!
- Instagram/Facebook: Not ones to be outdone, Instagram and Facebook, already app staples for many smartphone users, got to work this Halloween to offer holiday-themed features like zombie photo filters and a Halloween-themed game. Try these out while you endure a lull in trick-or-treaters.
- Nextdoor: Last but certainly not least, Nextdoor, the app you might already know and use for keeping up on the goings-on of the neighborhood, offers a family-friendly feature called the “Treat Map,” which shows you houses in the neighborhood that are offering candy and are friendly towards trick-or-treaters. Use this to plan that last-minute trip out with the kids!
