App47 is headed to San Diego!

No, we aren’t going on vacation. We’ve made plans to attend CCISDA’s Fall 2018 conference.

The California County Information Services Directors Association, or CCISDA, represents IT directors, CIOs, and CTOs throughout all 58 counties in California. It meets in conferences twice a year, and provides county IT stakeholders an opportunity to share information and ensure they’re up-to-date on the latest topics in the government IT space.

We’re happy to share that App47 is making our way to San Diego for CCISDA’s Fall 2018 conference, with the theme, “It’s a Whole New Ball Game.”

The conference is slated for Sunday, September 16 through Wednesday, September 19, and will cover everything from IT strategies for rural counties to InfoSec 101 for leaders and a number of work group sessions. While the final day of programming concludes the morning of the 19th, the unofficial highlight of the conference is Tuesday’s dinner and ballgame at Petco Park, where the Padres will square off against the Giants. We can’t wait!

App47 will be hosting a happy hour before the game on Tuesday, September 18, and if you’re planning on attending the conference, we hope we’ll see you there. We’re looking forward to the opportunity to interface with California government IT leaders.

We’ll provide more information on the conference–and our happy hour–as we make our way through the summer and get closer to September. In the mean time, if you’re planning to attend and want to meet, or have questions about the conference, feel free to reach out to us at info@app47.com.

See you in San Diego!
